My Comments: Since I was a young nerd, a single child moving around the world at the beck and call of my parents, maps have intrigued me. They allowed me to develop a spacial relationship with where I was (Great Britain, France, U.S., India) and where we were going next. Today I have a pretty good sense of direction.

An old friend from my college days sent me this web presentation with some maps that you’ve probably not seen, reflecting information that is both interesting and timely, given that we now live in a world where Google is king.
