My eBook is Now Published!

A Better Way to Buy MedMal Insurance
Discovering Hidden Benefits for PHYSICIANS

Last week I uploaded a file to a site called Smashwords, and a yesterday, I received word that it had been reviewed and approved. I am now a published author.

Here is the link: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/270686

As you can perhaps imagine, this is not a casual read. And though the book is only 15 pages long, including the title page, the topic is relatively obscure.

It is directed toward fellow financial advisors and other professionals (CPAs, Attorneys) who include among their clients, physicians in private practice. As lay people, we’ve heard for years that physicians pay large premiums for what we think of as medical malpractice insurance.

I now have a resource that enables these physicians to recover 50% of those premiums when they have few or no claims against them, and get tax advantages as well.  The book itself is designed to help a physician understand the value proposition presented by a financial advisor or someone else.

Smashwords.com is a site for people who want to self publish. At the basic level, there is no charge for doing this, and they automatically convert it to virtually every format for reading electronic books known to man. So if you prefer, you can read it on your iPhone, though that might prove stressful.

If you are so inclined, click on the link above, and of course, read the short description. If you know anyone, absolutely anyone, who might benefit from any of this, please send the link to them. And, of course, comment to me if you see anything amiss or confusing. I won’t object to compliments, either.

Personally, I recall, somewhere from the deep recesses of my past, an observation that for someone to consider themselves successful, they must achieve three things in life. One is to build a house, two to father a child, and three is to write a book. The first two came and went years ago, and now, in my eighth decade, I’ve managed the third. Not that I ever considered myself unsuccessful before, but that third item did hang out there as something I needed to finish.
