Lighter Moments

The challenge that I now face with having a blog, and after listening to all the best advice, is to post something at least every day. So from time to time you’re going to have to expect a post that is neither serious or compelling. Just a little goofy. Like this one, whose source is the 2005 Bulwer-Lytton contest for bad prose. I don’t know to whom this should be attributed.

“Our story begins, as very few do, in the small but diabolically clever town of Torrington, Alberta, where the Gopher Hole Museum, displaying 71 adorable yet eerie stuffed gophers dressed up to resemble the townspeople, has attracted so many tourists that when a Torrington home goes on the market, it sells in less than six years.”
